River Stour Boating
CIC is a Community Interest Company providing safe, guided passage
for individuals by Canadian canoe along 25 miles of the River
Stour from Sudbury in Suffolk to Cattawade near Manningtree on
the Essex coast.
Utilising local volunteers with canoe and river experience and
the support of local agencies, we help in maintaining the navigation
for light craft by the provision of easy and safe portage around
the ten weirs on route.

River
Stour Boating now has in the region of 50 Volunteers. These
provide such services as River Guides, Mini-bus drivers,
catering, bookings and many other valuable tasks, too numerous
to mention.
